Artist in Residence Program
Aim Innovation Inc/AIMI., Arts and Culture Center, artist residence program provides artist and creative professionals with time, space and resources to work individually or collectively with AIMI and the community.
Our artist in residence program is for emerging and established artist of African and Latino/latina/latinx decent, allowing them a space to create their art and engage with the community.
Current Artist in Residence
Geo Zhaney hails from Ecuador and has resided in Queens for over 20 years. Geo is a multimedia artist who works mostly in wood and art exhibition installation. He has a passion for sustainability by creating art from found pieces that people have discarded.
Geo offer free class for Children, Children with Autism and adults.
